When the game eventually does die, those people are going to have to find something else to claim is dead. Turn off 'fullscreen optimisation' in exe properties compatability tab for the game you're trying too.

Ok, I tried disabling the game bar and it didn't help at all, also tried the other suggestions and they didn't work. The weird thing I noticed is that if I enable the game bar and start recording a video using it, the framerate unlocks for some magic reason, and when I stop recording it caps to 60 fps again. Edit: Ok, basically if ANY system overlay pops up like the volume bar or the screen brightness bar the fps uncaps magically, what is causing this?

And expecially, why is this just happening for Quake Live and not other games? And what is with the modifications like Defrag? I just take a quick look the the Windows Registry regedit of WinXP, and there OpenArena seems to appear simply in the "history" of programs like the zip manager and recently used files I never want to be aggressive, offensive or ironic with my posts.

I can be wrong at times, but I never want to upset anyone. Member Cakes 12 Posts: Afaik OA doesn't save anything to the register. Just get rid of any shortcuts you made, the install directory and the config directory. But why'd you wanna uninstall it. Thanks for your help.
