Enable Scene 2 or 4 You do know that several of your controller settings conflict with standard MIDI cc uses right? For instance cc33 is mod wheel, cc34 is breath control, etc.

Send a private message to musicman Find all posts by musicman I have a bunch of plugins, and what I am trying to do is control parameters within these plugins with the knobs and wheels on the keyboard. If anything it made it worse, because somehow I managed to have red boxes appear around some parameters only when LEARN is clicked off. You need to create a midi track, and assign it to the plugin you want to use it for. Then the learn function will work. Ok, I just tried out what you said.
When i look at the outputs for my midi track, all that are listed are my virtual instruments, my other plugins eq's, compressors, etc. My Studio. Bumping this because I just bought an MPK Mini mkii and got it with working with Pro Tools 12 and couldn't find all the information in one place. Once you have midi connected in pro tools slave channel , m-audio keyboard, etc do what nst7 said and create a midi track with the output pointing to the plugin you want to control.
If it isn't listed as an option, you probably need to open the plugin and create a new map first so it knows you want to use midi with it.
The new midi track has to be record-enabled. Then you can use learn to assign the parameters. I don't have it automatically identifying the controls yet, but if I right-click in the plugin parameter in the UI and manually assign it to one of my known CC ids, then it works to control it.
